Deborah Lynn Rowe


Ms. Deborah Lynn Rowe, 54, of Lebanon, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at her home.

Deborah was born in Noblesville, on Nov. 20, 1955, a daughter of the late Marion Eldridge and Florence A. (Davis) Wiley.

She was reared and educated in Sheridan, and then moved to Lebanon in 1987, where she since had resided.

Deborah worked as a dietary aide for numerous area long-term care facilities. She retired from Parkwood Health Care Center in 2004 due to her failing health.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Tinker. In addition, she loved playing Bingo whenever she had the chance.

Deborah was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include three children, Marion Wade Earl and wife, Rebekah, Robert D. Wiley and Angela I. Rowe, all of Lebanon; two brothers, Robert E. Wiley and wife, Barb, of Harrisonville, Mo., and Stanley W. Wiley of Rossville; two sisters, Mary Lou Wiley of Lebanon and Christine Bailey and husband, Larry, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and eight grandchildren, Jacob Earl, Katherine Earl, Robert Wiley II, Damien Wiley, Kaylee Wiley, Kaylynn Wiley, Ariana Messer and Landon Merritt.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia A. Mossburg.

Visitation is 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Lowell Spaulding officiating. Interment will follow at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Westfield.
