Mr. Calvin W. Minglin, 76, of Lebanon, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, at Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon.
Mr. Minglin was born Oct. 27, 1933, in Frankfort, to Lester Calvin and Grace Whaley (Sharp) Minglin.
He married Birdie Lorelle Jackson on Sept. 17, 1955, in Indianapolis. Mrs. Minglin survives.
Mr. Minglin served in the U.S. Marines in the Korean War from 1952 to 1959.
He was a retired self-employed semi-truck driver.
Mr. Minglin served as an evangelist for various Churches of Christ and he was a member of Gadsden Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Clint Minglin (Kurtina) of Monticello; two daughters, Melanie Reelitz and Valerie Hughes, both of Flora; one brother, Ivan Minglin (Doris) of Kokomo; one sister, Gladys Ellabarger (Eddie) of Kokomo; daughter-in-law, Carla Minglin of Lebanon; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by son, Kevin Minglin.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home, 204 S. Center St., Flora. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Preacher Galen Miller officiating. Burial will take place at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.
