Mrs. Wanda Janette Wilson, 68, of rural Frankfort, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, unexpectedly at her home.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 30, 1941, in Park County, a daughter of Alvin B. and Juanita (Wolfe) Cory.
She married Tommy Lee Wilson on Sept. 8, 1962, and he preceded her in death on June 23, 1997.
Mrs. Wilson attended Bloomingdale School for 11 years and was a 1959 graduate of Turkey Run High School.
She then graduated from the Indiana Business College, Lafayette, in 1960.
She was a homemaker and mother, and she worked at ALCOA prior to her marriage.
Mrs. Wilson attended Dayton United Methodist Church and was the music booster secretary for Clinton Prairie High School from 1982 to 1986.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by son, J. Scott (Heidi) Wilson of rural Frankfort; daughter, Stacey (Bruce) Vester of Noblesville; two sisters, Alana Joan (Richard) Kingery of Houston, Texas, and Betty Jean (Bill) Hinshaw of Sheridan; and nine grandchildren, Joshua, Katherine, Hailie, Holden, Hunter, Hadley, Hannah, Haven and Hyleigh.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharyl Lynn Wilson, on Jan. 3, 1988.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services are 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairhaven Cemetery in Mulberry.
