Mrs. Ernesteen “Tina” Earl, 69, of Lebanon, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mrs. Earl was born June 27, 1942, in Lebanon. She was born, one of 10children, to the now late Ernest Sylvester Allen and Ethel Marie (Hill) Allen McGuire.
She was a lifelong resident of Lebanon except for eight years that she lived with her sister, Lois, in Arizona.
First, she was married to Garlin W. Burruss in Arkansas and they divorced.
He passed away on June 1, 2011. After a 12-year courtship, she then married Daniel A. Earl on May 27, 1995, in Florida; he survives.
Mrs. Earl attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. She had worked in several restaurants and nursing facilities throughout her life.
She also was a co-owner and operator of Earl’s Garage and Roadside Auto.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with all of her family. She loved riding Harleys with herhusband, Daniel. She spent many hours doing yarn and needlework, and took great pride in her blue ribbons that she won at the Boone County Fair.
Mrs. Earl was a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Brownsburg.
Survivors include her husband, Daniel A. Earl of Lebanon; eight children,Tina L. (Danny) Mansfield of Debary, Fla., Glenda Saunders of Whitestown, Lindy L. (Russ) Ervin of Lebanon, Cindy M. (Scott) MaLoney of Lebanon, Karen L. (Dwight) Calhoun of Brownsburg, Wayne (Rachel) Burruss ofLebanon, Lloyd Ernest Burruss of Houston, Texas; and Jeffrey A. (Theresa) Burruss of Indianapolis; three stepchildren, Douglas R. Earl and Kimberly S. Veach, both of Lebanon, and Mary M. Akin of Jamestown; one sister, Lola Padgett of Lebanon; and 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Ruth Nicely, Lois Landers,Owen Black, Charles Black, Linda Sartor, Bonnie Allen, Beatrice Allen and Beverly Allen; and three stepchildren, Daniel E. Earl, Piper S. Earl and William R. Earl.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services willbe 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Dennis DeWitt officiating. Interment will be at Bethesda Cemetery in Brownsburg.
