Margaret Larsh

— Ms. Margaret Larsh, 91, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2013, at Homewood Health Campus, Lebanon.  

Ms. Larsh was born Aug. 11, 1920, in Clinton County, Indiana; a daughter of John Walter and Leatha Rose (Campbell) Larsh. Both parents are deceased.

Ms. Larsh attended Dover Elementary and graduated from Colfax High School in 1938. She attended Indiana Business College and went to work for Wassons after high school. She was a bookkeeper for Marbaugh Engineering Supply Company in Indianapolis for 40 years, General Medical Supply for 10 years, and American Village for 12 years. She volunteered for Zion Evangelical at Methodist Hospital.

Margaret loved to travel and had been to all of the indigenous states of the United States as well as traveling to Europe. She was also interested in genealogy. Margaret had life memberships in the Indiana and Kentucky Historical Societies. She was also a member of the Indianapolis Mutual Service Association. Margaret moved to Crown Point in 2006 and then to Homewood in 2012.

Survivors include her sister-in-law Carol Dykes of Colfax, nephew David (Patricia) Larsh of Colfax and niece Rhonda Larsh of Frankfort; two great-nieces and one great-nephew and three great-great-nephews. A brother Robert C. Larsh preceded her in death.

Family and friends will gather Friday, March 8, for visitation at 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Ms. Larsh will be laid to rest at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Thorntown.
