Judith Ann”Judy” Thompson

Judith Ann”Judy” Thompson, 75, of Lebanon, died Monday, October 8 at the St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana in Indianapolis. Judy was born May 26, 1937 in Lebanon, the daughter of James and Audry (Clossin) Waggoner. She was reared and educated in Lebanon and was a lifelong resident. On May 27, 1952 she married James Thompson, a loving union that lasted over 60 years.

She was a loving and caring homemaker and volunteered her time for over thirty years at Witham Hospital in Lebanon. She is survived by her husband; children Sallie (Ted) Caldwell of Lebanon, Jeff (Bren) Thompson of New Ross, Greg (Lora) Thompson of Thorntown and Gerry (Vicki) Thompson of Russellville; sister Jerry Squires of Frankfort; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Thompson, II; siblings Jack Waggoner, Oralee Maynard and Lura Brogan and grandson, Michael Stafford.

Family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 11 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. with the Rev. Lee Faust officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N.
