Lois L. Lucas

Lois L. Lucas, 82, Lebanon, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Parkwood Health Care Center in Lebanon.

She was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Thorntown, to James W. and Mahala Poland Maiden.

She was divorced.

She worked for Western Eastern Electric in Indianapolis for some time and retired from there. Prior to her employment there, she had worked for various other places. Her hobbies included quilting, painting, crafts and crocheting.

She is survived by four sons, Roger Maiden of Ohio, Rick Ford of Kokomo, Dan Heller of Thorntown, and Tom Ford of New Palestine; a sister, Betty Carter of Lafayette, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, a daughter, three brothers, and five sisters preceded her in death.

Calling will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the G.A.P. Ministry Church in Thorntown, 200 S. West St., Thorntown. The service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, with Pastor Royce Ford officiating. Burial will be in Dover Cemetery in Dover.
