Mrs. Bobbie J. Kaser, 67, of Zionsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.
Mrs. Kaser was born March 10, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Alvin Salyers and Grace Salyers, who survives. Mrs. Kaser graduated from Dayton High School in 1960.
She married Bill Kaser on May 24, 1959, in Dayton; he survives. She helped her husband on the family farm.
Mrs. Kaser’s hobbies included cooking, and she loved taking care of her grandchildren.
She was a member of Zionsville Christian Church and attended the New Hope Christian Church. She was past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Zionsville.
Survivors include her mother, who resides in Dayton, Ohio; three sons, Aaron Kaser of Whitestown, Jeff (Georgianna) Kaser of Zionsville and Steve Kaser of Whitestown; one daughter, Micah (Ed) Couch of Sheridan; five grandchildren, Jared Kaser, Eli Kaser, Caleb Kaser, Ashley Couch and Nathaniel Couch; and one sister, Bonnie Schaub of Akron, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Skye Couch; and one brother, George Salyers.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 223 N. Meridian St., Lebanon. Private graveside rites will be held Saturday, with Pastor David Bourne officiating. Burial will take place at Mts. Runn Cemetery, Boone County.
