— Mr. Franklin Arvine “Frank” Lee, 75, Lebanon, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at his home.
Franklin Arvine Lee was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 15, 1935. He was the son of the late Kenneth R. and Marjorie (Ford) Lee.
Mr. Lee lived in Indianapolis where he was a 1955 graduate of Ben Davis High School. He worked for seven years at R.C.A. in Indianapolis. For several years, he resided in Richmond, where he was employed at Richmond Records. He returned to Indianapolis and became an employee of L. E. Isley & Son. He was a master plumber and worked for 35 years for Isley until he retired in 1997.
He was married in Indianapolis to Charlotte Jewell (Baker) Lee on Aug. 27, 1955. Mrs. Lee survives. They recently celebrated their 55th anniversary.
The family moved to Lebanon in 1975 where he had since resided.
Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his family and their activities. He also liked to play billiards, marbles and golf. He had played in a pool league for 15 years and had received several trophies and recognitions.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lebanon.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Charlotte J. Lee of Lebanon; five children, Mrs. Franky A. Genier and husband, Gary of Avon, Mrs. Kelley R. Kearney and husband, Paul of Indianapolis, Mr. Zarth A. Lee of Lebanon, Mrs. Tierney C. Newnum and husband, Mike, of Lebanon, and Mr. Gunnar L. Lee and wife, Amber, of Lebanon; a brother, Mr. Damon Lee of Richmond; 11 grandchildren, Nevada Gentry, Jessica Lee, Blanton Gentry, Whitney Aiken, Taylor Aiken, Charli Genier, Clint Kearney, Lake Newnum, Mason Lee, Aden Lee and Roman Lee, and six great-grandchildren, Lawson Aiken, Lincoln Whitehead, Talon Gentry, Corbin Aiken, Trace Gentry and London Gentry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth Lee and Marjorie Lee King, and a brother, Duane Lee.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Lee Faust officiating.
Interment will follow at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Boone County.
