Mr. Phillip “Dean” Artman, 59, of Gainesville, Ga., formerly of Lebanon, passed away peacefully Friday, July 20, 2012, at his home.
Dean was born on Feb. 7, 1953, in Lebanon, to John and Alice Artman.
He was the beloved husband of Debra (Irby) Artman for 40 years.
Dean will forever be remembered by his devoted family: wife, Debra; parents, John and Alice Artman; four beloved sons and their spouses, Chris and Samantha Artman, Nathan and Michelle Artman, Aron and Alicia Artman and Casey Artman; five treasured grandchildren; brothers, Bill and Gary Artman; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
He loved life, laughter and his family. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Assembly of God Church, 519 S. Main St., Kirklin, with food and fellowship to follow.
