Carole Diane Moore, 58, of Indianapolis, formerly of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, while surrounded by her family.
Carole was born May 13, 1951, in Indianapolis, daughter of the late James and Glenda (Ridge) Brent. On Sept. 20, 1975, she married James A. “Jim” Moore in Indianapolis.
She was a 20-year member of the Lakeview Church, where she participated in many different activities. Carole and her husband Jim founded Bikers for Jesus and enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle. She enjoyed music, watching hummingbirds, nature and playing euchre.
Over the years, Carole and her husband have owned and operated different companies including Fireball Computing, a network marketing company with international affiliations. Their business allowed them to develop and maintain friendships with people all over the globe.
Carole’s photographic memory and organizational skills allowed her to manage their business and help grow it into an organization of over 35,000 people. In one year, their company helped develop and sell over 1,000,000 Web sites with software they designed.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years; children, Doug (Jinger) Moore of Lebanon, Wesley (Rachel) Moore of Indianapolis and Eric Moore of Lebanon; grandchildren, Bethany Moore, DJ Moore, Kashia Moore and Klayton Moore; siblings, Sharon (Mike) Swathwood of Indianapolis, Janet Strong of Indianapolis and Dale Brent of Indianapolis.
Family and friends will gather from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. A celebration of Carole’s life will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the Strawmyer & Drury Chapel, with Pastor Ron Sears officiating. Carole will be laid to rest in the Moore Cemetery, located in Terhune.
