David Wayne Robertson

Mr. David Wayne Robertson, 72, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at Kindred Transitional & Rehabilitation at Parkwood, Lebanon.

David was born March 30, 1940, in New Brunswick, the son of Wayne and Lolita (Emmert) Robertson, both deceased. He graduated from Pinnell High School in 1958, and later attended Purdue University.

He married Janice I. Adams on June 19, 1960, in Lebanon; she survives.

David spent most of his life in Boone and Clinton Counties. He retired from Co-Alliance (formerly AgMax) in Forrest, as a plant manager.

He was a member of Boone Lodge #9 F&A.M., Shrine Club and was a life member and Past Exalted Ruler of Lebanon Elks 635. He was also a member of the Indiana Outboard Association and a member of the Kirklin Christian Church.

David enjoyed attending events involving his grandchildren. He was a fan of Purdue, the Colts and the Pacers. He enjoyed racing boats with his sons, and in recent years he enjoyed watching his grandsons compete. He also enjoyed animals, traveling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Michael W. (Jill) Robertson of Zionsville and James D. (Karen) Robertson of Brownsburg; a brother, Mick (Dawn) Robertson; a sister, Roberta (Jim) Spray of Lebanon; four grandchildren, Drew and Wayne Robertson of Zionsville and Kelsey and Justin Robertson of Brownsburg.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon, with Elks Rites beginning at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with Chaplain Gary Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
