Mr. Harold Lloyd Anderson, 85, of Crawfordsville, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Williamsburg Healthcare, Crawfordsville.
He was born Oct. 23, 1927, in Russellville, to James and Rena (Whitted) Anderson. He married Roselyn Ann Ferrand on Sept. 9, 1948, in Greencastle. She survives.
Mr. Anderson retired from Horners Buick after 37 years as a mechanic. He attended Russellville schools and was a very skilled woodworker.
He was a member of the Crawfordsville First Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Gerald (Kathleen) Anderson of Lebanon, Lloyd Douglas (Susan) Anderson of Houston, Texas, Steven (Debbie) Anderson of Crawfordsville, and Gordon (Ann Marie) Anderson of Brownsburg. Also surviving are his sister Helen Graves of Lebanon; and eight grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald, Dale and Everett Anderson; and sisters, Dorothy Dickey, Thelma Poland and Mildred Alexander.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 4, at the Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Isaac Zull officiating. Burial will be in the Brick Chapel Cemetery.
