Edward Ray "Ed" Osborne

Edward Ray “Ed” Osborne, 55, of Thorntown, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at his residence.

Ed was born April 27, 1957, in Montclair, to Nick and Wanda (Brown) Osborne. Both parents are deceased.

He married Rebecca Bewley on Feb. 4, 2008, in Lebanon; she survives.

Ed worked for his brother in the furniture refinishing business for over 20 years.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing and trapping, and he loved to cook.

Ed was a member of the Thorntown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four children, Shane Osborne, Barbara, Tonya and April; two brothers, Ronald Osborne and Denny Osborne, both of Thorntown; three sisters, Bonnie Flecter of Frankfort, Sharon Haggy of Clayton and Peggy Warner of New York; three stepsons, Chris Culley, David Culley and Donald Osborne, all of Lebanon; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Russell & Hitch Funeral Home, 116 W. Plum St., Thorntown. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Karen Ottjes officiating. Burial will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery, Thorntown.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
