Rosalie Evaline (Davis) Kincaid

Mrs. Rosalie Evaline (Davis) Kincaid, 84, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at her residence.

Rosalie was born Oct. 6, 1928, in Eden. Her parents were the now late McHattie Harrison and Girtie Evaline (Stephenson) Davis. She moved to Sheridan at the age of six months. She was reared and educated in Hamilton County, where she graduated from Sheridan High School in 1946.

She married Anthony Kincaid Jr. on Aug. 1, 1947, in Sheridan. They were married 63 years. Mr. Kincaid preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 2010.

Rosalie was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lebanon.

She was a homemaker and worked part time at the family business, Kincaid Auto Sales in Lebanon. She enjoyed reading, playing the organ and attending shrine activities. She had enjoyed spending winters in Port Charlotte for years.

The family offers heartfelt thanks to family friend, Dr. John Saalwaechter.

 Survivors include three sons, David C. (Bonnie) Kincaid, A. Steven Kincaid and John A. (Rocky) Kincaid, all of Lebanon; sister, Dorothy Salsbery of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Ruth Norris of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Staci (Todd) Sorgatz of Madison Heights, Mich., Kraig (Andrea) Kincaid of Noblesville, Nicole (Garrett) Guetersloh of Lebanon, Kristofer (Chastina) Kincaid of Frankfort and Matthew Kincaid and Lebanon; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Sorgatz, Morgan Sorgatz, Cooper Guetersloh, Gracie Guetersloh, Kolton Kincaid, Britney Harris and Raven Kincaid; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; siblings, Alice Newby, Florence Durbin and Nathan Davis; and a grandson, Daniel D. Kincaid.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Myers Chapel of Memories, with the Rev. Jim Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
