Frankfort — Carolyn L. Turner, 70, of Frankfort, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012, at Witham Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 25, 1941, in Clinton County, to Gilbert & Pearl (Croy) White.
She married Larry W. Turner on June 21, 1959, and he survives.
Mrs. Turner was a 1959 graduate of Sugar Creek Township High School. For the past eight years, she worked at Pearson Education in Lebanon. She previously worked at Peter Paul Cadbury in Frankfort for 22 years.
Survivors include her husband of Frankfort; daughter Tambra “Tami” (Jeffrey) Purkey of Noblesville; son Anthony “Andy” Turner of Frankfort; five sisters, Thelma Jean Mulvihill of Griffith; Martha (Dick) Akin of Elkhart; Elizabeth (Bill) Bitner of Kempton; Joyce (Lowell) Lindsey of Winamac; and Barbara (Jeff) Dye of Aurora, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Taylor, Noelle and Morgan Purkey.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leon, Robert and Larry “Bill” White.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.
