BOONE COUNTY EXTENSION HOMEMAKERS QUILT SHOW — Registration required by this day for the annual quilt show. The quilt show will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 24 in the Witham Pavilion at the 4-H Fairgrounds. Needed for display are quilts, new or antique, wall hangings and quilted garments.

FOSTER CHICK CARE CLASS — Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. for this class for families with children ages 7-12. The class is about how to provide a foster home for two or more baby chicks hatched at the library in May. To be a foster parent, the child and a parent must attend this class. All materials will be provided, and the chicks arrive the first week of May and will be in the child’s possession through May 16. Children may only particiapte once. The class is April 25 from 3 to 4 p.m.
