The following persons were booked into the Boone County Jail; charges are preliminary and may be changed by the Boone County Prosecutor’s Office after review of arrest reports:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 1

3:38 p.m. — Phillip W. Dickey, 36, Thorntown, failure to provide identification, Boone County Sheriff’s Office.

1:34 p.m. — Vanessa Jade McKinney, 29, Thorntown, probation violation, BCSO.

2:57 a.m. — Martin E. Ocampo, 43, Greenwood, operating while intoxicated and driver never licensed, Whitestown Police Department.

12:50 a.m. — Adam Nicholas Sponn, 22, Washington, failure to appear, BCSO.



Area public safety agencies responded to the following calls for service:

WEDNESDAY, JULY 1

3:44 p.m. — Stray dog in the 500 block of Market St., Thorntown, Thorntown Police Department.

2:23 p.m. — Caller reports two subjects that appear to be smoking marijuana in the 300 block of Longley Dr., Lebanon Police Department.

2:07 p.m. — Caller reports a road hazard as a school bus is doing 40 miles per hour in the fast lane of I-65 at mile marker 130, WPD.

10:17 a.m. — Subject at Zionsville Police Department, 1075 Parkway Dr., Zionsville, to report cemetery vandalism, ZPD.

9:51 a.m. — Smoke coming out from under the counter at Umpire’s Choice, 215 W. Chicago St., Lebanon Fire Department, LPD.

8:54 a.m. — Amp boxes stolen from a Brighthouse Networks representative in the 6200 block of Andrews Way, WPD.

8:41 a.m. — Field of hay taken in the 6100 block of Ind. 47, Sheridan, BCSO.

7:55 a.m. — Semi hit the guard rail on I-65 at mile marker 138 and spilled fuel, LFD.

12:44 a.m. — Caller thinks shots were fired at Elm St. and Lebanon St., Jamestown, Jamestown Police Department.

12:42 a.m. — Someone threw wood at caller’s house in the 700 block of Powell St., LPD.

12:27 a.m. — Domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Ash St., Zionsville, after boyfriend returned drunk, ZPD.

TUESDAY, JUNE 30

11:46 p.m. — Caller reports having been raped a couple of weeks ago, LPD.

11 p.m. — Boys shooting paintball guns at Lebanon High School, 510 E. Essex Dr., LPD.

9:31 p.m. — Large boulder in the road in the 1300 block of Ind. 32, LPD.

9:28 p.m. — Domestic disturbance between father and daughter in the 70 block of Elm St., Jamestown, JPD.

9:26 p.m. — Female left her license at Gas America, 1335 S. Lebanon St., saying she would be back with more money, but it has been over an hour, LPD.

9:05 p.m. — Several people fighting by the basketball court at Southside Park, Birchwood and Hendricks, LPD.

7:27 p.m. — Report of a male subject driving a golf cart at Main St. and Patterson St. toward a local bar and grill with a beer can in his hand, LPD.

5:42 p.m. — Fireworks being thrown in the hallway of Eastwood Apartments, 323 N. East St., LPD.
