Public agenda for Sept. 6

Lebanon City Council

The Lebanon City Council will have a public hearing on the 2009 budget at 6 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers, 401 S. Meridian St.

The council will have a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Monday. The agenda includes second reading of an annexation ordinance and first reading of 2009 salary ordinance.

Lebanon Board of Works

The Lebanon Board of Works will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers. The agenda includes department reports and a secondary plat plat approval for Menards.

Thortown library

The Thorntown Public Library will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the library, 124 N. Market St. The agenda includes fountain repair, secret garden update, the 2009 budget, Turning Leaves plans and a smoking policy.

County Council

The Boone County Council will meet at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Connie Lamar Meeting Room 105, 116 W. Washington St., Lebanon. The agenda includes and update on the Conerstone CPS project, township budget review, Lebanon Library budget review and additional appropriations.

Whitestown Town Council

The Whitestown Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Worth Township Fire Station. The agenda includes police department promotions, a public hearing on annexation, appointing members of the Metropolitan Police Commission Board and a resolution approving surplus bond proceeds.
