Lebanon girls basketball news


The Lebanon High School girls basketball coaches will be holding summer basketball camps for girls will be taking place next week. The middle school team camp is designed to teach fundamental team concepts within the offensive and defensive schemes of the program. It is for incoming sixth to eighth graders and will run from June 22-June 25. Camp will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Cost is $50 and includes a t-shirt and basketball.

If you haven’t already signed up, you can register on the first day.

The elementary camps will be broken into two sections. Kindergarten through second grade will have camp June 17-19 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. while the third through fifth graders will have camp June 17-19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Both camps will teach fundamental offensive and defensive skills. Camps are $30 and includes a t-shirt and basketball. You can register on the first day.

The Lebanon girls basketball team is raising money for breast cancer research. Hoops for the cure will be June 12. People can pledge money per shot that is made during the event, out of 500.
