3-on-3 results

The Lebanon Educational Foundation had a successful 3-on-3 basketball tournament on Saturday. The tournament had 96 teams from Central Indiana participate in the event.

It was a great day for outdoor basketball in Lebanon Memorial Park. Tournament play began at 8:00 a.m. and all teams were finished playing by 2:00 p.m.. Throughout the day, participants and spectators alike could participate in the Special Events which included a free throw contest; a three-point shot contest and a skills and drills obstacle course.

“This is the 17th year for the Firecracker Classic, which is the foundation’s largest fundraiser, and many teams are repeat participants,” LEF’s Executive Director Cheri Goodwin said “We are thrilled to have such a great opportunity to showcase basketball in our community and to raise funds for the students in the Lebanon Community School Corporation. To see 384 participants and countless spectators converge in the park is great.”
