— Lora Elizabeth Haines of Zionsville and Brian D. Carter of Beech Grove were married June 19, 2010, at Salem United Methodist Church, in Zionsville. Eric Bobbitt of Zionsville Fellowship officiated.
The maid of honor was Kate Pell, and the bridesmaids were Emily Zdyb and Brittany Wingerter. The flower girl was Sarah Snapp, cousin of the bride. The best man was Nick Bolton, and the groomsmen were Joseph McCurdy and Michael Denton.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Haines of Zionsville. She is the granddaughter of Mariam Lenox and the late Dr. Jack Lenox of Lebanon. She graduated from Zionsville Community High School in 2004. She received a bachelor’s degree in 2008 from Indiana University, Bloomington, in tourism management. The bride is employed as a ticketing representative at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Carter of Beech Grove. He graduated from Beech Grove High School in 1996. He received a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in 2000 and a master’s degree from Lee University in 2007. The groom is employed as a teacher and men’s tennis coach at Beech Grove High School.
After a honeymoon to Negril, Jamaica, the couple returned home to Indianapolis.
